I was watching Workin' Moms on Netflix, and holy shit, I thought having kids, getting married, and intermingling all that with original issues would be bad, but man, the show really does a good job at painting what parenting can be like.
Have any of you watched it, and do you think its a realistic representation of modern, middle-class/upper-middle class parenting struggles? I'm honestly feeling pretty grateful that it's just me and my gf that I have to worry about. That's enough as it is!

@Jean - It was deleted. That kind of racist claptrap is not funny anywhere.

I watched the trailer. You could have saved yourself the $8.99 per month and just read Suo's blog without sacrificing any pedagogical or entertainment value.

In other news, 3% is a really interesting show, and honestly how job competitions can feel sometimes for 20 year-olds. It's also great for learning Portuguese!

I've heard good things about 3%. Try Dark if you like non-english sci-fi with young people. Pretty fabulous, IMO.

Try "Life Itself"
The critics hated it. I thought it was pretty good at showing the ways people deal - both good and bad - with challenges in life.

Thank you for sending me on a three-day-jounal-reading trip! Man, I'm so glad I listened to my husband when he categorically refused a second child...

Planned parenthood doesn't even hand out free condoms anymore. They just provide the link to Suo's blog.
