OK I never heard of these before. I was watching videos on how to use a Koenig Model 100 pto winch, as I have one to install on my '58 Chevy Napco pickup eventually, and this video came up:

I don't know anything about that winch, but the '58 Napco is a great looking Chevy truck.

Yeah that is interesting. I've never used a winch for vehicle recovery, just for pulling things. Generally getting hung up trees out of the canopy or drag logs to the skid trail. Right now I just use the Warn 8274 that's on my Toyota pickup.
