Assumptions:
0) I want to use it [solution discussed in this topic] over WiFi in my home.
0a) I am bandwidth pig everywhere else!
1) I do not have this specific cable. They tend to break very quickly.
2) I do not use any major solutions (Google Drive, Microsoft One) (I want to break free from them) (it is part of my detox from the internet)
Problems:
1) From PC to smartphone
Portal Pushbullet solved all of the issues.
2) From smartphone to PC
(I just use my mobile as camera to make photos to sell my stuff)
(I used in the past Google Drive to save files from mobile to the cloud)
Most of the sync apps do not work for me (or I am just stupid) (SGS3 here). They very often offer ridiculous freemium conditions. Do you have any recommendations?
I am thinking about finding hipster ad-free email provider with big attachments allowance... but they do not exist (market is almost dominated by 3-5 providers). Privacy is also an concern for me, however this will be my burner email. It is very how the functionality expands to just catch all of your data and your... time.
In this case I also look for good email client for Android (and only email client).
I will maybe use just my old camere. There I own the cable

[In the big picture I try to resign from my smartphone to old Nokia 1600. The calling is only important - the rest is fluff. Interestingly, after deleting Google account from mobile makes it "practically useless". It is also worth noting how the smartphone changed the way I "perceived" data]
Edit2: I finally chosen gmx as email provder...

Re: Transfering files from smartphone to PC (and vice versa)
Can you transfer over Bluetooth?
Re: Transfering files from smartphone to PC (and vice versa)
Probably I do not own Bluetooth device. It is also a bit absolte technology and finding good applicaction for PC is a bit hard.
This solution "mailbox+WiFi" works pretty good.

Are you opposed to Dropbox, too?
