Hi Everyone, does anyone have an extra floor to sleep on Friday night and/or Saturday night? I'm useful and willing to cook, clean, and provide other forms of labor.

My original plan has fallen through because my cousin has to fly somewhere for work(lol) last minute. I've reached out to some others I know and will update this post if something changes.

@MCS you can crash at my place downtown on Saturday. DW will be out of town and feels weird about me inviting a stranger over, so no need to cook or clean just don't murder me

Long story, but there is no way I'll make it in time to the meeting. I sincerely hope you guys have an informative, inspiring and culinary exciting meet-up!

I didn't see any ERE'ers taking pictures, but there was a woman from a Danish TV show filming a lot of the action. Hopefully Jacob tells us when that comes out. Then you can see great footage of Jacob answering questions while I shovel his wife's homemade sourdough bread into my mouth in the background.

It was good to see everyone! Long time no posting, but good to catch up as well. Hopefully I won't be a stranger this coming year.

This was one of the biggest meetups yet---if not the biggest ever. I'm sorry that the book/stuff giveaway/exchanges got lost in the chaos (it was sitting under the food/behind the seats) but I hope everybody enjoyed themselves regardless.

It was cool to finally put a face on some of the forum names some of whom I've known for a long time. My personal facebook rule is that I usually only friend people I've met (so as not to end up with 1000 friends I don't know who are), but if you were at the meetup, feel free to hit me up on my rarely updated and barely relevant facebook account.

I always enjoy seeing other peoples homes(a middle-aged mid century housewife in a contemporary young mans body?) so the peeks into DLJs and Ericas home were really juicy(looks cozy!).

I obviously couldn't understand most of it but it looked like a respectful treatment of the idea. The shots were flattering and jacob got a lot of air time.

@j -- Did that guy really hit you up for cash on camera? He sure knows when to ask ... too funny.

Voiceover announced that everyone at the meetup is a dollar millionaire. May or may not be true but think they missed the ERE point of not needing a mill to retire.

@Jacob At one point you mentioned you had 97 years of expenses saved up and that it would technically last for 120 years. Just wondering how you made the calculation?
