Toronto reoccuring board game night?

Post by slsdly » Fri Mar 09, 2018 11:48 am

Is there any interest in a recurring board game night from those in Toronto? I have a ton of strategy games, and am happy to host (Bloor West Village / High Park neighbourbood). My current group has been moving towards more guessing, acting and trivia games of late. I can't say I enjoy those much :lol:. Some examples of what I have are Stone Age, Powergrid, Settlers, and Eclipse (there are many more).

By the Way. There are several internet sites that allow you to play board games online (provided you know the rules) and there are also several game you can Play By EMail (PBEM).

I spend all day on a computer; if anything, I want to use them less. A work in progress though ;). But thanks for the suggestion. Just putting some feelers out there in case there happens to be local interest really. If there is any crowd that would prefer strategy type games, I think it is this one!

@pukingRainbows, awesome!

It would be best if we can get another 1-3 people interested. To be clear, I'm not asking for commitments. My habit has been to put an ask for games on a particular day/time, and see who is up for it at the time. Get enough interest (3+), we play! If not, we wait for a window. In practice this resulted anywhere from once every 2 weeks, to once a season.
