Hike in the Swabian alps 19-23.02.2018

Post by Jean »

Hi, I'm going to hike from monday 19.2.2018 in the evening for 2 to 5 days in the swabian alps.
I'll start near Dinkelsbühl and will hike till Aalen. This won't be extreme hiking, because the terrain is at most hilly, but it'll be nice. I'll sleep outside.
Is anyone interested in joining me?
If you answer me before monday at noon, I'll send you the exact location and start time and my phone number.
If you never did something like that before, but would like to join, feel free to ask about what you should expect and what gear you should take.

I won't be able to make it, but I am interested in the gear list for February camping in the Alps.

One down sleeping bag (valandre odin)
One thermarest inflatable matress (the 20yo rectangular one)
One bivyvbag
One silnylon poncho
Small rope and 4 "tent nails"
One gaz cooker
One fifth of a galon pot
One vacuum warm bottle
A few underwear.
A down jacket
Softshell jacket
Wool sweater
Map and compass
Knife, lighter, spork

The swabian alps are not really alpine, but i would use the same gear in the alps. Just skis and an ice axe onto that.
