I want to belatedly thank everyone for an enjoyable time at Au Coquelet. It was great meeting Jacob and DW finally, the elusive JaneInSF, Bakari + gf, Mike+DW, etc.
I left with my interest piqued about Bakari and his multiple revenue streams--I probably just need to do some catch-up reading here on the forum, but would love to hear about how he (you, Bakari!) hooked up with the Coast Guard reserves, how that has been, how you like life in your RV/camper, etc.
I'm jealous of Bakari's gf--sorry, I forgot her name--who has been keeping chickens in Oakland. Urban farming is something I want to explore a lot more as an ERE idea. I'm having a hard time giving up the idea of living in a big city, so hearing stories like this is great.
