San Francisco East Bay Meetup 1pm Saturday September 3rd 2011

The meeting will be at the bench area at the Dublin Sports Grounds. This is about 1 mile/15 minutes of walking west of Dublin/Pleasanton BART. (See bart.gov)

If you want to be recognized bring a sign that says ERE and hold it up conspicuously ... or carry the book around.
Traditions/recommendations:

1) Potluck snacks (homebrew, two buck chuck, cookies, sandwiches, ...)

2) Book, CD, DVD exchange (to get rid of books and other stuff)

3) Write down your questions in advance (to avoid forgetting to ask them)

Sounds awesome, but I am supposed to be supervising freebike parking at the Cannabis Festival that weekend.
I could make a meetup if it were evening, but I couldn't do the over night.

With enough advance notice, I'd definitely be up for an over night.

Unfortunately I will be in Chicago that weekend for a very non-ERE type family wedding where I will be ridiculed some for my misguided ways

My friend though might be able to attend and will RSVP separately.
Hope you folks have a nice event. If I were attending and weather permitted, would have brought a Frisbee to throw around or soccer ball to kick around - could be fun group activity.

I am hoping to make it, but likely cannot commit until near the fact... Would prefer an overnight, since I'm flying in, but might be able to do just an evening.

Apologies for missing the meetup. I have been slammed with work and wasn't able to clear the decks for Saturday. I hope it was a good event. Did JohnnyH make it?

I did not. I was on a field assignment that ended up lasting 1 day too late.
