Meeting ere people when Sailing around Hawaii

From end of November till mid January 2019 I am in and around the Isles of Hawaii to prepare a 64 ft trimaran sailing boat for a trip to Europe. The owner is also a Dutchman who has just bought this ship and has asked me to assist him to make the ship ready and train sailing with him.
It would be nice if I could meet ere people who live there. I will be most of the time in a marina near Honolulu.
