Web Based Business

Post by thebbqguy »

I have in the past started 3 different online blogs that turned into part time income.

-bbq spice rubs
-bbq information
-vermicomposting worms

My wife has an eBay business that's generated $2300 YTD from $2 and $3 antique items.

I raise fish but it takes awhile to grow them out.

I am looking to start a 4th idea that hopefully will generate more income.

Any ideas for products and hat can be sold in this manner?

Why not focus more on the BBQ stuff and move from blog to an online store? You can try selling a few BBQ products that you love, or produce your own rubs and package it nicely. You can probably find good ideas off etsy.com, and then sell your own version on etsy.com , better yet make your own shopify.com site.

I used to have a drop ship arrangement for a while also. I think that approach is the direction I should pursue among others.

I agree with JamesR; selling your style of rub is creative and you have direct control over it. And you get to write some food off as business expense ;). Possibly at least.

Dog breeding. Pedigrees or unusual crossbreeds.

Or exotic or unusual pets. Like micro pigs.
