For DS's 15th birthday we made him a potato cannon - but not nearly as cool as this one. This would be the upgrade.

Thanks for sharing. Amazing to see the dynamics going on in there.

I always thought these things were weak because they did not compress the charge like an engine before ignition.

Wow was I wrong. This video is clearly showing a "supercharging" effect as the combustion in the center is compressing the unburnt mixture. Wow.
