Teens talk about college versus job specialization in the 1950's

Been really loving this YouTube playlist with clips of teen culture from the 1950's to the 1970's. In this video, smart teens are asked whether they want or plan to go to college. Only a third raise their hand. Some of the discussion that ensues touches on the learning-for-its-own-sake versus career specialization dichotomy that dominates a lot of the higher education discussion even today.
