Found the ERE commune location

Houses are built very close to each other and often share the same entrance, so they're particularly interested in groups of friends or families

But then we would all be stuck in Bisaccia.
It’s maybe not THE worst part of italy, but for sure among the worst.
Terrible infrastructure, super spotty healthcare services, earthquake area (without the properly built infrastructure of course) and the very real risk that should something nice be built, someone with bad intentions could show up demanding payments.

South of Rome, you only want to live* in the cities in Italy.
Cost of living is equally low but at least you live in a first and a half world place.

Stay away.

*meaning long term, some of the small villages in the south are beautiful to visit!

But we will be an ere commune. We will not have anything "nice", we will have 2 frankenstoves cobbled together from parts of the 10 stoves that have been abandoned in the houses we buy, and we will be surrounded by a huge bunch of diy-ed and fixed up ugly stuff that would not be fancy or shiny at all. We will probably have one fixer-upper car between the ten houses, and in one of the houses there owuld probably be chicken. Would the mobsters care for chicken?
