Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it
I cant say enough how great it is to have a community like this one. Thanks to Jacob for keeping this going and thanks to everyone else for providing thought provoking ideas, criticism and support. I certainly appreciate it.

Hear, hear! Happy Thanksgiving everyone ... I love you guys!

PS. At this time of year, I'm also very thankful that I have a tribe somewhere that can enjoy the holidays without going completely batshit crazy. It can be so depressing watching people spend money they don't have on useless, planet-crushing stuff they don't need. This forum is a much-needed respite from the insanity.

Happy Thanksgiving folks!
This place feels like home away from home. One of the coolest thing about pulling the plug for me, will be getting to travel and meet people from the ERE forum.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here, though I myself am not celebrating it until this weekend and have to work instead. At least the pay it good on paid holidays.
What's more American than working on a paid holiday?

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
The turkey was good. The stuffing was great. That my belly feels like I ate a sack of quarters is the only thing I hate.
Re: Happy Thanksgiving
It goes without saying that no one is ever going to eclipse The Man From Nantucket but that's a great limerick, intentional or not. I actually googled it to make sure it didn't originate from some 19th century, intoxicated, bloated, knicker wearing, public ale house, not his wife's ass grabber. Any way, its in the public domain now.Dream of Freedom wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 9:20 pmThe turkey was good. The stuffing was great. Happy Thanksgiving.
Re: Happy Thanksgiving
Pro ERE tip: turkey goes great with lentils.
Thanks to everyone here for the great community. I'm thankful for you all.

Happy thanksgiving and thanks a ton to Jacob and all the ladies and gentlemen on this forum for making it a phenomenal community.
I have slowly drifted away from the few other online communities I frequented, but this place is really special.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
+1 or what Seppia said (so well).
Spending a lot less time online in past months but every time I do I come and look at what is happening here. I learn something every time.
Finally based on the drip drip drip of information from these forums repeated to/discussed with my son, he is getting Jacob's book for Christmas (and this is because he _wants_ to read it - finally). Thanks Jacob and everyone on here.

Many thanks to Dr. Fisker and the forumites for being an antidote to the closed-mindedness encountered in everyday life. I feel less alien here.
FWIW, pecan pie > pumpkin pie and all comers

Dr. Fisker sounds like a Bond villain

Re: Happy Holidays
I'm hijacking this thread to say Happy Holidays to everyone. Whether you celebrate something this time of year or not, doesn't matter ... hugs all around!
