@jacob -- Can we (moderators) split the topic from the first post and give the new thread the original name? That should copy all of the posts over into the thread with the proper name. It should be moved into the Health category anyway.

Fitbit One and Whitings Scale
Yes we can! Good idea.
Re: Fitbit One and Whitings Scale
The monthly tracking is fun and it definitely motivated me to move a ton. I don't think 20k daily steps is sustainable, but it's good to know I can do it if I want to.
Seppia is on a tear to start June! I've got some catching up to do if I want to defend my title.

@Smashter - Are you the top May guy?
Both defending and catching up is bloody hard. You can't get more than a day behind before it becomes paramount to do double-duty.
10k/day is required just to get to the top-10.

Yep, I was the top person in May.
I agree, catch up is tough. I've been traveling a lot to start the month and my routine is way off.

Re: Fitbit One and Whitings Scale
So far I've been walking (treadmill) during almost all of the world cup games.
If find that if I keep the fitbit in my pocket and a book in my hand, I can look up when something interesting happens. Anyway, the second half of Iceland vs Nigeria is about to start, so here comes another 4500 steps
I'm coming for you Smashter!

Re: Fitbit One and Whitings Scale
That's a good strategy. A level up would be to try to watch one full game and run as much as the average player, which is apparently 7 miles.
Then my reign at the top would be very short lived.

Re: Fitbit One and Whitings Scale
I think I'll start with something easier than average, like maybe Messi.

Ha, I know nothing about soccer, so I had to look that up to get the joke. This chart made the point. I guess conservation of energy is important!
