It isn't made of steel (probably). I feel different taste of prepared meals in comparison to food made in steel cookware (but here I don't use pressure to cook them).
Should I avoid it?
Your thoughts?

Depends on how health-conscious/fanatic you are.
Aluminum cookware has been used and is still used since the 1970s (at least) and it hasn't been banned yet. Its propensity to react with acidic foods (tomato stuff) is well-known. This is why you detect a different taste. Since it's detectable, there are certain some Al-based compounds in the food.
Personally I would just generally phase out the alu pots and pans. (And not cook tomato sauce in them until then.) I still have alu pots for camping.
PS: Before electric furnaces, aluminum used to be extremely rare and more expensive than silver. IIRC there was a royal household who featured aluminum-ware instead of silver-ware to show off their wealth some centuries ago.
