An interesting news tidbit that I thought might be of interest to ERE.
A 39 year-old won journalism's highest award for an article he wrote while working at The Daily Breeze, a small LA paper. Prior to winning the award he quit journalism to work at a foundation fighting genocide. The editor of the Breeze was surprised when the writer quit because he was doing his best writing of his career.
