School Bus Driver Shortage and Signing Bonuses

Many areas are experiencing a shortage of school bus drivers. Some are offering signing bonuses of many thousands of dollars and pay of $20+ per hour. Easy money and fun for some, a nightmare for others. There's a shortage due to covid risks for drivers so think about the possible dangers before signing up. Just something interesting to discuss, not a recommendation.

I've often thought it would be fun to get to try to be a truck driver for a while (I bought the Euro Truck Simulator video game). I hadn't thought about busses. Might not be a bad way to make some cash for a school year.
