What is the easiest, most hassle free way to upload pictures? I have resized some I want to post to -75% of original which brings them below the size limit. Where is a good place to put them to get a link to put in the /img tags?

www.imgur.com.

- Go to www.imgur.com
- Drag your picture file(s) from a folder to the browser window. (doesn't matter that other pictures are showing up, you don't have to click anything to get started)
- Click the "upload" button in the window that comes up.
- After it uploads and displays, copy the address from over on the right side.

I have been using photobucket and use it mainly for resizing since you can't share larger than 800px. Everything else is pretty crappy though, the site is really slow.

Do any of those offered let you resize?

Used postimage today. Seems pretty straightforward. Allows resizing

Yes, Flickr works pretty well for resizing. You just upload whatever size you want. Then it takes an extra click or two and it can display the image in a full range of sizes.

Is that Kings Valley Highway?

Close. Elkins Road heading west toward Airlie Road which then goes to KV Highway. Elkins is one of my favorite motor and bi cycling roads. I'll probably ride that way this afternoon, though I expect it will be raining. I have gear.

What a frustrating process. I've resized, then resized, and resized some more only to receive the following message when attempting to post, "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

What gives?!?!

I'm using Imgur.

I figured out the issue! I wasn't using the i.imgur link to embed the photos. On imgur, there will be an option under "get share links" that allows for copying of BBCode html.

Problem solved gang.
