I haven't noticed anything different on my end today.

So bizarre. There's a red line where the thread and sub-forum titles should be. The forum name at the top is also missing, but the sub-title is there. I've tried logging in and out and closing out Chrome and re-starting it.

I haven't had anything to drink yet today, either. :P

The weird part is that all of those bits of content are embedded in the same HTML file. It is not like it does a call out to JavaScript to populate them. The only thing I can figure is that you have an add-on/plugin on your desktop browser that is interfering, or you've somehow overridden the CSS which messes up the formatting; that happens to me often because I set a minimum font size for websites in my browser settings (because I like it nice and big) and the site layouts are really not happy about that.

jennypenny, try chrome in incognito mode and see if you still have the issue.

Scrivener is messing me up. The forum won't load correctly as soon as I load Scrivener to start my work day. I did change some settings in Scrivener recently, but it's still strange. I haven't noticed any other issues, but I haven't been online much either except to work. The problem corrects itself when I reboot, but then starts again as soon as I load Scrivener. Such a pain, since I can't use my phone for the forum anymore.

Thanks for the suggestions.

go to chrome://extensions/ in your chrome URL bar and see if you have a scriver extension that you can turn off perhaps? Or just turn off all the extensions and see if the issue still happens. Can experiment with turning your extensions on/off till you find the culprit.

Scrivener occasionally messes my browser up too. I haven't had problems with this forum yet but the NaNoWriMo forum hiccups. So do Google Keep and Write Or Die. Basically every site I want to use while writing glitches when I'm writing. :roll:

Is someone fiddling with the forum settings today? I'm getting a series of weird glitches - never the same one twice! - that disappear when I reload.

No fiddling today. Practically no fiddling ever.

Maybe cloudflare? They haven't been happy with my vpn lately and throw up verification screens before allowing the forum to load. This morning the verification seemed to be more thorough than other days.

I'm having issues too, but I think it's one of the links in the political threads that's giving my security system agita.

Windows 10+ Firefox+ABP+ghostery+the links+scrivener -> no issues for me.
