I'm a little embarrassed by how long it took me to get my pin in the right place on that [bleep] map.

I'm squatting at McConkey's Ferry Inn.

In Barrie (Canada) now doing higher-paid healthcare IT work. Trying to find a frugal community in this pretty consumeristic city, as well as a fellow ~late-twenties gay miser like myself to date (an even smaller percent of the population). Yes, this is my Personals ad on the ERE forum. DM me for details/questions =P

Added as well. There were some concerns earlier in the thread that your google account would be linked to your pin. I see no evidence of this however.

Alright, good to know I am not the only one up north after all.

theanimal : I paddled part of the Alatna and Koyukuk river for a month last summer. Was very interesting to compare the people/infrastructure/First Nation interaction with what I see here.

Rossox : Bienvenue ! I have been to your corner of the world many years ago. Annecy, Chambéry and Grenoble. Nice mountain scenery there too ! but way too much people ;)

Added. Fun fact, had a couple new to my area reach out to me due to this type of map on MMM, we're meeting up in a couple weeks and they have a little kid too.

All I have say about the ERE map is...Where my Canadians at?!?!

I've gotten six people that requested access in the last 40 days.

Initials of the requestors: E V, D H, F H, B F, T P, J M. No idea if they're forum goers or just randomly came across the link.

Can anyone report if they're having trouble adding themselves on the map?

EDIT: To clarify, I've never gotten "ERE Map - Request for Access" emails before (as I'm the current "owner" of ERE map). Not sure if google changed something.

I just tried viewing the map. I'm already on the map, but it still wanted permission.
