Maybe a circus theme?

I was thinking of a Solitaire theme, but that works :)

I like the simpler format of that theme (not as many horizontal bars--easier to read on the phone) compared with the original one. I like the simple look of the current forum, but that's just a personal preference. I've always liked that the text was the focus here, and it wasn't cluttered up with large smileys and signatures.
My only change to the theme jacob chose would be a more subtle color scheme. Otherwise I like the simpler format.

@jennypenny -

Yeah I like http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/xandred better.
Bigato, can you switch?

@bigato - you're right, the "View unread posts" option in phpBB has 90% of the functionality of the current Latest Discussions view. The biggest downsides seem to be having to be logged in and it's one extra click, but that's definitely out weighed by not having to maintain extra plugins. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

@Bigato: Just wanted to say, the new forum looks awesome, and you seem to be doing a way better job than I could have. Thanks for all your hard work on this!

OK - maybe also let's also try to tell people to hang around the IRC channel that weekend to help those less technically savvy figure out the new software once it's up and running. Or maybe some blind leading the blind ;)

Awesome work bigato!
Bigger. Stronger. Faster.
Love the speed of new search, and the available search options.

picky, picky, picky...
Can you just run the ads within the threads? A lot of forums I frequent drop in ads as the second post in a thread. (I have no idea how hard this is--just sharing what I've seen done.)

@Bigato--Today it's running on the third post down

I don't think the ads look bad on the side or the bottom.

Looking good, bigato, looking good (as far as I can tell from five minutes of clicking and scrolling). Thank you!

This is what I get for ignoring this thread. I had just assumed it was people saying, "it's down again." Nice so far. Looks good. Should increase the traffic in the forum. Do we need donations?

It doesn't seem to be updating. It's not showing on the blog right now either.

I like the View Active Topics screen. It's basically what we had before. Is there a way to make that link brighter/bigger/more noticeable for people?

I still can't get the feed to work. Maybe it's me. I'm tired :)
