Success at Library with ERE Book

I put in a request in the Saint Louis Public Library to pick up Jacob's book about 2 months ago. It finally came in today, and I was the first (only?) person on the wait list. Woot! Anyone else have success getting their library to stock the book?

I sent in a request after Jacob wrote a post on it. I had a response within a day, and a couple of weeks later, I got an email saying that it was waiting for me.

I should posted my other comment here. The number of books that the Edmonton library network has has jumped to 5 and there are 9 holds on the book since I last checked! I suspect there are a lot of frugal people in my city.

My county library system has 9 copies, 7 of which are checked out

I've got the copy from the San Diego Public Library in my hands right now. Just arrived on the hold shelf this morning.
