I stumbled across a trailer for a new movie by Tom Shadyac. You may know him from his work as a director on Ace Ventura Pet Detective, and Bruce Almighty among others. What is interesting is that he has given away most of his money and lives in a trailer. Kind of sounds a little bit like ERE, except in reverse. Here is a link to an interview with him:

and his new movie "I Am":

ERE in Reverse-Tom Shadyac
Hmmm,
My bandwidth is trying to load the interviews on log scale (as opposed to arithmetic)! Managed to hear the first question with him refusing to be branded as socialist, lead in participative democracy movement...etc. "Be the change you wish to see in the World" and no more.... he said. Lucid speaker!
This is the second filmmaker embarking along these lines... Earlier I had come across another film maker called Peter Joseph whose work is now the forefront of the Zeitgeist movement
There's three films in that series
ZeitGeist: The movie
Zeitgeist III: Moving forward
The last one's just released in theatres across USA/Canada and is not part of any major distribution, so if you are into movies you can catch up with his this weekend .
For the rest of us, not in USA/Canada, good news! He makes all his films legally available for download as torrents, so "Yahoo! is your friend"
