Music for Exercising
Music for Exercising
Anyone care to share what music they listen to while exercising? Now that warmer weather has arrived I am getting into the jogging spirit again and thought I would share my #1 piece of music. The two genres that get me pumped up are Epic and Trance.
This piece lets me power through a 1 mile jog (minimum) in the time it takes to listen to the entire thing.

In fact, Two Steps From Hell has a large repertoire of epic music.
You also can't go wrong with Armin Van Buuren and his A State of Trance!

Depends on the sport, for running check out spotify's workout playlists which never fail. If you have the time and inclination you can match the tempo of tracks in your MP3 collection to your regime using software and make some pretty cool playlists that way.
I enjoy classic rock for my workouts.

I've found that most music interferes with my running rhythm. However, there was a Radiolab episode on "Time" with some excerpts from a Beethoven symphony stretched to 24 hours. Now that seemed like something worth trying!

No music (or anything else) here. I just run, bike, what ever.
