Simple Valentine's Gift via mail

Post by Bro » Thu Jan 31, 2019 2:23 pm

ERE Bros,

I was seeing this lady for a few months before I had to head out of town for 2 months for an extended work assignment at the beginning of the year. I'll be headed back to my original location upon finishing up.

I'm not much into gifts, but I figured it would be cool to send something via mail for Valentine's Day. Does anyone have any cheap ideas? Of course, a letter would always suffice, but I thought I would throw it out there for consideration.

Thanks bros.

The nicest present I got on valatines day once was a packet of seeds. For flowers.

I agree that packet of flower seeds would be a lovely, simple gesture. If you are okay with coming off a little bit (100 years) old-fashioned, you could choose forget-me-nots, but then lighten up that sentiment with a more humorous wink of a note. Otherwise, choose a variety that reminds you of her in some way. Something like "I spotted these, and they made me smile and think of you. Happy Valentine's Day" would suffice.

Composing a long letter for Valentine's Day would be far too daunting and likely to fail in one way or another, like baking a souffle.
