Europe's Youth Deserts and Potential Low Cost Expat Locations

In the map below, red or pink indicates areas where young people are moving away from. This might mean low housing market pressure and cheap cost of living.

The northern coast of Spain looks interesting, as well as a province or two on the Greek Adriatic coast. I am surprised about northern Italy, I thought that would be an area people are moving to.

I wonder if there is also a map of the US, indicating the percentage of population aged between 15 and 34?
Is it similar in US, like "old" and "young" counties, regions, ...?

There is an overall trend, that the percentage of younger people is decreasing, due to demographics.

see figure 10 on page 16

"A promise to provide free wifi to every village in the EU would be delivered “for sure” by 2024, she* said, adding that it was “one of the most important pillars of the political guidelines of the commission”."

*Dubravka Šuica, EU vice president for demography

Yes, who believes that?!

you don't need a map, younger people are moving from small cities and the countryside to large cities where the jobs are.
