JMG's "Retrotopia"

Post by jennypenny »

The Archdruid Report is running a series called "Retrotopia" which Greer describes as "an exploration of some of the possible futures discussed on this blog, using the toolkit of narrative fiction." I'm enjoying it. Here are links to the first three installments.

#1 Dawn Train from Pittsburgh
#2 The View from a Moving Window
#3 A Cab Ride in Toledo

I just stumbled across this post today.

Yeah, Greer is fantastic though he plays the short-term prediction game too much for his own good. Retrotopia does not suffer from any of that, however, and is indeed a great piece of recommended reading for resilience-minded folk.

Here is a list of of all his fiction from his site, including Retrotopia.

Retrotopia was great stuff. I got my library to order Star's Reach, which was quite entertaining too.
