NPR Hidden Brain Podcast

Post by horsewoman »

This is one of my favourite podcasts, I'm sure many forumites are already aware of it.
I listened to this episode today, which I found very interesting - it's about forming good habits:

Creatures Of Habit: How Habits Shape Who We Are — And Who We Become
https://www.npr.org/2019/12/11/78716073 ... -we-become

2 fun facts: I listen to Hidden Brain Podcasts (and similar shows) and audiobooks only when cleaning or mucking out the paddocks. The anticipation of an interesting podcast makes dull work less daunting. The second thing is, I kicked my Facebook habit with this forum. I used to browse mindlessly in FB whenever I was bored, now I rather come here and learn interesting things. I still spend way too much time online but at least it's time well spent!

Next in line for me is this episode, also very apt for this forum:

Emotional Currency: How Money Shapes Human Relationships
https://www.npr.org/2020/01/10/79524668 ... ationships

Enjoy!

@horsewoman
NPR’s Hidden Brain is fantastic. Something You Should Know is equally good, also from NPR.
