I've spent the last month looking around on the Internet for a place to talk about money and investing and am glad I found this forum.
I am a late 40's woman in the Midwestern United States. I work part-time in the financial sector.
ERE is brand new to me, but I just bought the book and am browsing through the website and am extremely intrigued.
I have two goals -- to reduce my spending and to invest my savings. As far as spending goes, my main obstacle is high healthcare costs. As to investing, I have decision paralysis.
In the coming days I will start a thread in the "Journals" section with more details. For now, I just wanted to say "hi" and looking forward to being part of this community.
