I am a long time reader that never commented but when I noticed that others were blogging about their choice to become FI, I decided to take the plung.
I live in Italy with my loving husband on about 300 euros a month for 2 people, only 175 of which are true needs; 30 euros per week for food and 45 a month for utilities. In some ways we are lucky because my husband owns his own home, health is free in Italy and my in laws allow us the use of their cars; but I am always looking for ways to spend less still.
I decided to persue FI after about a year of stewing (repping the intps here)for the freedom it will bring us. Happy to note it took me a year to decide but I convinced DH in 1 day
Anyone else in Italy? I noticed a few others seem to be in Europe.
