Hello, I am Herb Spencer. I am pleased to be a part of the ERE forum, and I will enjoy meeting others and learning about what they are up to in their quest for ERE and FI.
I am 65, retired fully as of 01/01/10. I spent 30 years in the US Army, retiring in 2002 as a Command Sergeant Major, Field Artillery. After that, wife and I bought into four apartment complexes for the elderly and disabled and and ran those for seven years. Then we decided to fully retire. I have high hopes for all of you to enjoy the escape from earning a living the hard way. Cheers.
Greetings From the Southeast

HSpencer, now I know why I want to hear more from you. I've never met an E-9 from whom I didn't immediately want to learn everything possible. I'm from a different branch of the (US) armed forces (and I did not "work for a living"), but I have often found the FA particularly enlightening and entertaining. I anticipate many excellent anecdotes coming from the Southeast.
