I’m a not-quite-yet-middle-age not-programmer. I do geoarbitrage and work outside my country of origin - or worked, before corona.

Hi Nomad, the North West seems a lot cheaper than London. I had thought about moving to Manchester. I spent 3 happy years there when I was a student in the 80s, if happiness could be described as that state of mind induced by a Smith's soundtrack. It has all changed now. I'm not saying that in a racist Morrissey-these-days sort of way.
