Hey everybody,

My name's Jimmy. I'm 19 years old and living in the Chicago area. I worked and traveled for a while after I finished high school. Recently I read Jacob's book. Currently making decisions regarding further education or vocational training. Am considering a nursing degree that I can do through my local community college; I think I can pay for the whole thing with scholarships. I'd also love to be a teacher.

I'm glad I discovered ERE relatively young before I have any expenses of my own. I live at home and bike everywhere I need to go, so I have zero expenses. I have a couple thousand dollars saved in the bank and am planning on working towards Financial Independence from now until whenever I achieve it. Not particularly interested in having kids or anything like that.
