Jean, don't let us discourage you from achieving your dreams. I say go for it; play like a goddamn champion.

When you hit the 8 baby-momma-milestone, please change your name to Genghis Jean.

"While employment levels did not improve, participants said they felt happier and less stressed."

Groundbreaking revelations. Money well spent.

That could be a fun project though, making some tallow candles just in case the power goes out and my Waka Waka lights break. And to make better use of beef tallow.

49% of working women today are the main breadwinners of their household.
CS, where is that stat from? One of the Pew surveys from 2018 pegged it at 40%.

Re: new mating strategy gaming hypergamy

Are you so awesome that a bunch of women will want you enough to share? Are you rich enough to provide for that many people? Or do you think your harem is going to be satisfied providing for you? Most women are turned off when they earn more than their husband or when they're supporting him. Did yo...

The 1.5 is cool too because it's the only guard in the set that's not black, so you can't grab the wrong one when you're buzzed (heh). Also, you can do this when you're buzzed.

Re: Keeping Some of the Lights On: Redefining Energy Security

It's much easier (and cheaper) to adapt and limit lifestyles to available renewable energy supply, i.e. sail when the wind is blowing, heat water with solar thermal when the sun is shining, burn wood when it isn't, as for lighting, burn candles, or go to bed when it's dark etc. I wouldn't for insta...
