Re: Quitting Alcohol Pros and Cons

For the reason you described, to reduce that friction that pops up when you don't participate. I wish I had the same control as you in such scenarios, but at the same time I hate narks. Also one reason I consume is for experimentation purposes. When in a group you can learn its 'wet' dynamics, which...

Re: 80/20 Specialization/Generalization

Why would you want to keep investing your time and retrieving money from a sinking ship, if you recognize that it is sinking wouldn’t you want to get on a life boat? Of course the ship has not struck the iceberg yet.

For now I will go by specialize at work, generalize at home.

Re: The meaning of life / How did we get here

A question I have been pondering recently is what are humans supposed to evolve into/are humans supposed to create the next evolution of intelligence? Questioning the meaning of life is a known effect of mild depression and feelings of being disconnected. If we did not question this, how would we kn...

Re: Daylen's Instinctual Dump

An analogy I thought of today is Ti is like a system of pipes and Ne is like the fluid flowing through them, does this seem accurate?

I also will never forget the time I tripped with my cousin. Do you have any thoughts on the heritability of cognitive functions?
