Re: A Model of Cognition

Your depiction of my tendencies is better. Maybe it depends on the combination of the primarily used* traits that determines the relationship among traits. Based on your picture I see many possible inter-trait relationships, but I don't know how to tell which are true or which are valuable, or if it...

Above is an attempt to represent myself with this language and the big 5.

Your micro-actions seem similar to the cognitive functions in the mbti system. Maybe I will try to define one of those personality types with them.

Re: A Model of Cognition

You are entertaining me and I like where this is going, I am beginning to see utility! I think keeping up the spewing is the right idea. Maybe I will try to use your model to model something, I probably don't have a good enough understanding yet though to be 100% correct, unless I am representing a ...

Re: How to cut back on food spending

I am not opposed to spending more for organic food. I believe doing so is less or equally as expensive in the long run because of negative health impact of non-organic foods and associated medical bills. Maybe I am exaggerating the negatives of non-organic food, but I think this is worth researching...

Ah for me it is as good as it is bad. Net zero.

Actually that is only true at levels 5 and below. Above that it is a slight negative, though I am young and I am not considering long term effects.

I get a good buzz or drunk 3-4 times a week. I call that a 7 (low-grade alcoholic). Started out of curiosity due to openness, stayed because of boredom and no girlfriend! When I started the questions thread under the miscellaneous index I was very drunk.

Re: Questions

So I'm supposed to believed I'm fucked? Everything that is true is just floating around me and I am a partial part of it and that's it. This makes me believe nothing matters in the binary pair or everything matters and nothing matters, of which I flip between believing which is correct, though most ...

Re: Questions

Okay, flow states are generally considered good, but in my experience of being in flow I am not reflecting.Which reflecting can be beneficial in altering the state of future flow states. I guess the problem may be to complex to assign some model to for all ideal* situations, unless somebody has the ...

Also I think humans capable of evaluating the average of their own experience relative to other known experiences when reflecting. Though in strenuous moments and including almost all moments in a humans life, humans are incapable of reflecting.

I see. What does it take to have an amount of humility all of the time that prevents this. Maybe it is due to something genetic coupled with experience? Like many things, or am I wrong?

Re: Questions

What does it mean when a person has experienced a very low level such as -7 for a time then got back to a level such as +2 for a long while. Is the person better for having experienced the -7 level now that they are a 2 with potential for higher and lower levels? I tend to believe so because I seek ...

Re: Questions

Next question: what does it take to feel good? Drugs create a temporary good feeling, but less so the rest of the time, when used the right amount in my experience. A good lifestyle created a slightly good feeling almost all of the time when done correctly. This is probably the best way to feel good...

Woah there Daylen, not too fast. I notice you haven't posted in a while and my mind jumps to the worst of conclusions. Irrationally. You will need some means to find such power. That will be through me. I can and will endure the suffering required to set up an environment conducive for your reign. T...
