Re: Civil War in France
Ironically, I get immediate sympathy and some sense of brotherhood for the non-native french taking part in those protest. So this might be where those communitiy buy their frenchhood with their blood. The imported non french participants are minimal. This is very much a native Frenchman movement c...

Re: Le Rouge et le Noir - Daniel Amerman Edition: Asset Class Based Investing in a Federal Reserve Dominated World
Fond though I am of Stendhal, I dug up this jewel of a quant and his website. I am reading every article voraciously. You mean the classical French novelist? I read The Red And The Black, one of my favourites. His thesis is that in a Federal Reserve dominated environment, we are going to experience...

Re: The soft coup against US President Trump
of course everybody covered it "covered" as in participated in a hit job on President Trump. Remember when Communist woman of color AOC blindsided the Dem establishment in NY with her shock win over their Wall Street patsy. Former NY Times editor wrote enraged open letter to the current N...

The soft coup against US President Trump
Buzzfeed.com did a hit job claiming President Trump directed his lawyer Cohen to lie to congress about his business activities in Russia. The two "journalists" who co wrote the report gave contradictory answers to queries about verification of their sources. Mueller's office has now been f...

Macron said there is no such thing as a native Frenchman. The sooner these Globalists are overthrown, the better.

Re: The End of Economic Growth Is Inevitable. Let’s Plan for It.
Japan is a good example of how to do it right. While GDP has been stable/declining since the 1990s, individual income has still been rising because the population is declining faster => GDP/capita keeps growing and individuals are better off even if the country is no longer expanding its resource c...

Re: Fasting Can Regenerate Your Immune System
I hear nothing but good things about fasting. I do intermittent fasting which is great for my digestion, gives it a much needed break from dealing with food being shoveled down the hatch every few hours.

Re: Entering Ketosis
I lasted 3 days on a steak diet. Felt sick. But intermittent fasting 16 to 22hrs 3 times a week is awesome for me. I lift at the gym - old skool style strength training: heavy squats, deadlifts etc. So got muscle and burn calories. But can pack on a few kilos if I slack off for a month while still e...

Re: The Future Of Work
Interesting quote, I haven't time to read whole article. I don't know why the author is surprised though at urban centers not being meccas of opportunity for the unskilled. Hasn't the death of upward mobility into the middle class been heavily analysed and reported on for the last few decades as Glo...

Been trying all sorts of things in the digital media field the last few years to get there. I need more motivation and focus on achieving FI. Maybe I will start a journa...
