Re: 2020
Yep, planning a lot of holidays and maybe thinking about a migratory existence, UK in the Summer and somewhere warmer at other times of the year. I will be doing more music/recording stuff too. I will checkout your journal a bit more. I do like Cakewalk but I'm thinking of learning Ableton too. I ha...

Re: 2020
Your target from nearly 6 years back was £403125. I just checked and inflation adjusted from 2018 to 2024, it turns into £498994 (impressive). So with inflation adjustment - nearly there! Thanks @guitarplayer, I get about the same result. My initial target was about £400k and £500k seems like the e...

Re: 2020
I decided to make a note of my January expenses. The simplistic approach is to split everything into essential expenses at the top, then discretionary or fun spending near the bottom. Recurrent fun items are fun things paid via direct-debit. I also put some aside into a savings account for future tr...

Re: 2020
I have a new retirement timeline. I'm getting quite well rewarded in work at the moment and I'm going to try and keep motivated for another year. I didn't want to retire before the fabled stock market crash but the market doesn't seem to have received the memo.

Re: 2020
Well; I went back to work in April. Fitness I haven't renewed my gym membership since I rejoined work and I haven't been feeling great. I've decided to not drink alcohol for a while - as of the last couple of weeks - and see if my overall feeling of health improves. I managed to keep the weight out ...

Re: 2020
It became a new year and I was thinking, I probably don't need to robotically record my numbers each month. They are looking ok for my needs for a long while, so I should focus on other more tangible matters. Fitness I had gained some weight gradually without really noticing it and on New Year's day...
