Re: How much do you give to charity?

We only started it a couple years ago when our combined salaries reached $150K. Having already maxed out all of our retirement options with plenty leftover we thought why not?

It has only been a few thousand dollars a year but the next big raise will make it much more.

Re: Zankas poker-journal

That would be a huge change to move to a four table max. Do you know would that be just for cash games or for tournaments as well? For awhile I was 12 tabling MTT's and cashed out a couple $10k cashes over a couple of years. That will definitely limit the volume of MTT's they run.

Re: Zankas poker-journal

I have noticed Hold'em games getting increasingly difficult to beat by wide margins. I have been playing a lot more 8-game, HORSE, HOSE or any other mixed game to up my win rate. Does anyone else play mixed games?

Re: Zankas poker-journal

Excited to follow this journal. I played a ton of poker for years during and after college until they shut down the US sites.

Re: Warrior diet: water fast vs undereating

I think its easier to fast and give my digestive system a break. I tend to eat One Meal A Day (OMAD) on non-workout days and two meals on workout days. This makes meal prep easy and maintains the body shape I prefer.

Well, then the wealthy can just as easily find some way around any method of redistribution or progressive taxation. So, no point in UBI either.
Agreed.

Re: Andrew Yang's Freedom Dividend (Universal Basic Income)

Or they simply hire their kids for preposterous salaries and pass the wealth that way. There are so many ways around inheritance taxes they should just be abolished.

Re: Are emojis hieroglyphs?

The short answer is, yes. I work with a lot of Junior High and High School kids and every emoji has very significant meaning.
