Re: Help Getting A Job Working Remotely

It definitely is a race to the bottom price-wise but I've done more than that a month before and I do about $1,200 a month now and could definitely get more if I needed it. There are a lot of writers out there but there are also a ton of people who want to get rich making blogs without having to do ...

Re: Help Getting A Job Working Remotely

I switched to IT back in the fall and got an IT support job working remotely but it wasn't a job I could have traveled with. They sent me a desktop computer and it only worked with a wired connection. I also had to agree to have a certain Internet speed and a quiet environment. IT is a broad field a...

Re: So where is the much-touted inflation?

I agree with most of your post, inflating debt away is surely the easiest way that causes least upheaval, I see that as the most likely scenario by a fair margin. Sounds like Fed Chairman is going to push for this. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/24/powell-set-to-deliver-profoundly-consequential-speec...

Houses built with plastic bottles. A bit different than the Earthships as you don't see the plastic bottles afterward.

Re: Jobs That Teach Useful Skills

Thanks everyone for the ideas :D I just talked to a friend/former co-worker and he said if I got a job at his current place he'd teach me to be a maintenance tech while I worked as a leasing agent. They were looking for people at his place so I sent over my resume. If not, maybe I'll look into findi...

Re: Anyone had experience with online Affiliate Marketing - Clickbank?

No, I haven't bothered as it is a niche I'm not really interested in writing about anymore. I'm in the process of starting a couple of new sites now though. I figure at the very least I'll know what not to do. :)

Re: Anyone had experience with online Affiliate Marketing - Clickbank?

are some big pitfalls. 1: you're dependent on search engines, didn't a bunch of people get wiped out a few years back when algorithms changed? I was one of these people but I still think there is money to be had with online marketing. In fact, even the site that was wiped out still makes a couple o...

Re: Jobs That Teach Useful Skills

Construction companies are always looking for laborers. You could learn how to do drywall, carpentry, roofing, etc. The requirements are usually "having a car" and "don't show up drunk." Thanks for answering :D I've toyed with that idea as well. I'm moderately fit but I'm in my ...

Jobs That Teach Useful Skills

Hi Everyone, I spent the last 6 years working in property management so I could learn how to manage my own rental properties one day. It was helpful but the company I worked for was sold a few months ago and I'm looking to get into something new. I'd only be looking to do the new job for a year or t...

Re: 100% Working Remote / Telecommute

I am 100% remote working in insurance. I have to proactively be more social and communal with friends than I otherwise likely would in a normal job. In my experience, not seeing people or having real conversations in real life has very negative effects. 100% agree with this. I worked from home for ...
