I could see becoming a financial advisor as rewarding. You just have to abide by regulatory obstacles (e.g. the fiduciary rule) more so than in the HR recruiting profession. And it could get quite competitive with newer technology, but if you don't mind working overtime (BLS shows 24% of FA's work ...

To rent cars, I believe I would need to either have an existing (non-owner?) insurance policy or pay ~$10 extra for temporary coverage from the rental company.

I'm fortunate as my employer has offers a free rec center that I visit regularly to get in shape. Only thing I pay is gas to get there. Otherwise, unless you're a bodybuilder, push-up/sit-ups and running around the block would help.

I don't know if it's a good idea to quit coffee altogether. According to a study from Annals, "coffee drinking was associated with [a] reduced risk for death from various causes. " That's pure, black coffee; once you add cream/sugar/etc the benefits decrease. So if you don't mind plain black coffee ...
