Hi :)
Why don't you get rid of the car and bike/ run/ walk? Better for your health and finances. -> http://earlyretirementextreme.com/day-7 ... -free.html
And you should be able to eat for 80$ a month per person-> http://earlyretirementextreme.com/day-3 ... pping.html

Re: Living in Germany and trying to achieve FIRE in the year 2024

I will have an open eye on real estate markets, but just comparing yields from what I've seen, small, cheap stocks offer the best value at the moment in my humble opinion. We'll see. Very interesting. Would you generously have some r...

Re: Living in Germany and trying to achieve FIRE in the year 2024

Sure. I made a better, more conservative estimate now. (monthly figures) I hope I didn't forget anything. housing: rent+electricity+heating+internet: (310€+20€+30€+21€)/2= 190€ food & drinks: 80€ health insurance(included in job): 0€ smartphone+ laptop/smartphone depreciation: 10€+10€= 20€ transport...

Hi Mdfire2024,

Servus from Vienna! Congrats on your high savings rate!
May I ask what your expenses (mine: around 3600€/year) are and how you define reaching your goal?
I'm 28 and I'm over 40 years of annual expenses.
