Re: wolf's journal

Sounds like a very pleasant routine. If you didn’t have to work do you think you would just extend it to 100% of your day? Yes, I do. There are so many ideas and on my GALT (Getting-a-life-tree Building a Vision of Life Without Work ) and my ULAL (Ultimate-Life's-Adventure-List*, based on "How to r...

Re: Letting go of Tracking Every Expense

In the beginning I tracked every Euro. I had a big spreadsheet, in which I had many different expense categories. With time, and with lower expenses, I didn't see any meaning in it anymore to do it in such detail. So, as you said, I let go of it a bit. My tracking nowadays is very basic. Of course i...

what I usually do these days

If you wonder what I usually do these days, beside occasionally posting my financial status each month ;) , I'd like to outline it a little bit. Usually I work two out of five days from home. I go by bike to work. Each morning I review my journal entry from the last month and write about it. On sund...

Re: IPIP NEO, ERE/FIRE vs conscientiousness

I did a small data analysis, based on our IPIP NEO data. I doubt that it is representative for the ERE crowd. We need more data ;) https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/6uaOEoUEvyGxqVLmQwcg_Ac8bP_Rdo_32vJcuwCmqfkCP948IIbplDy2SiTf2XNwLoLDUR4dCCjCQSWW9DU3_EnWHebjV50flOeOES3Nsg3OfWmMcTMAUr0t2LQ147SFU1z1Ri6...

Re: Rossox Journal (From France)

Yeah, sorry to hear about your feelings of loneliness. For sure a part of it comes from that girl. But come on, don't get sad. You have so much more to offer. You can be proud of the things you do. She is just another person who has different views. There's no need to get sad. If it was a long-term ...

Congrats! Only 6000 € of expenses is really hard in germany, good job! Yes, it is. Inflation has been increasing lately. So it will get even harder to stay around 1 Jacob (currently 6041€). Luckily I am very content and happy with my current lifestyle, although I haven't travelled in my last three ...

It is great that you saved money although you did a vacation! How was your vacation? Did you do it "ERE style", like camping, by bike or public transport... Or did you book a standard hotel stay? Looking forward to hear something about that. 😀 Sounds good that your company has a lot of orders. Bette...
