I've done it. I managed to reduce my prescription from -3.00 to -1.50. I think I have too much eye strain from reading to ever get down to 20/20.

13", purchased about 10 years ago for about $100. It was last turned on about 6 months ago. I'm not a TV watcher as you can see.

I was never taught anything about personal finance in school, whatsoever. My mother taught me to balance a checkbook and to avoid high interest debt. Everything else I know I learned from websites like this one.

@Novice: I'm not sure I understand the "magically conjure" remark. Does that mean that all of your tuition for three years must be paid up-front the day you start school? If you are in school for the three years, then don't you have three years in which to earn the money?
