I tend to go for the smartass:
I monetize economic valuations on an as-needed basis to generate revenue for a small non-profit that helps the disenfranchised to lead what simple life they can. It's hugely rewarding.

I went back from the beginning of the year and pulled every purchase listed under groceries between the big box store card and my regular card. I have to say, I'm shocked to see the monthly average at $605.63 for two people and a cat. That's including everything that can be bought at a big-box store ...
