Re: Frihet / Freedom - Journal

Just came back from 3 weeks in mother India acting on a New Years resolution to start living and quit waiting for a perfect future. Oh was it reuvinating to step into her embrace again. There is something unexplainable happening there with all the devotion and prayer going on constantly. Spirit is c...

Re: Meditation and Metacognition

https://spiritualityexplained.com/sf-mensa-2017-full-video/ I've never seen such a clear and concise explanation of spirituality. If this doesn't speak the language of this board I have no idea what will. Frank Heile - Mensa, physicist, models and equations, practical. Enough said. Enjoy! And thanks...

Re: Meditation and Metacognition

Why do I meditate? Because it is one of the few things I've found that holds any promise of liberation from the suffering of this world. It also brings a meaning to my life. Being on the search for an unknown mystical goal, be it in part hearsay of sages past thus far, brings a direction and a purpo...

Re: Christmas Tree?

I prefer this kind, better cash flow when I install them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_tree_(oil_well) On the other hand I snatched a small half a meter variant from the forest last year. It was fun, finding it and stealthy bringing it home. Choose one growing next to several others so ...

Hej Forskaren, That's a solid financial situation you've got. You have been braver than me using leverage. Looked into knockout lånet at Nordnet a while ago. It's really strange that you can borrow at 1% . That's basically free money. But I can't make myself to do it anyway. Far to risk averse. I th...

Is there an accessible methodology pf his available somewhere?
I know he holds an online course and retreats. Have seen in the documentary that at least to cold exposure people seem to learn pretty fast. In the Vice one they climb a snow mountain in shorts. But probobly not a quick fix.

Re: Radical immune system hacks?

Out of the box hardcore solution. Start practicing like Wim Hof the Iceman. Basically breathing exercises and cold baths/showers. That way you can learn to increase the body's temperature. Like a self induced fewer. In one of the documentaries about him on YouTube scientist inject him with bacteria/...

Hi Dunkelheit, Is your name from the Burzum song? Very dark melodic atmospheric music. Had a dark/ depressed period when I listened a lot to the Filosofem album. At what Balearic Island are you planning to move to? I had a girlfriend on Ibiza for 2 years. I loved to spend time there on off season an...

You are very welcome, both of you. Merry Christmas from the North Sea. Out here on a 400ft tower of steel 😊 I just love trees. There is something about their silent presence. Majestically with you, without bothering you with moving or talking. Have been dreaming about Sequias. Have been to Washingto...

Where in the world is it easiest to get rich? | Harald Eia | TEDxOslo https://youtu.be/A9UmdY0E8hU Interesting view and a bit funny. I was at your point 10 years ago. A trip to Peru and Ayahuasca helped me to realize what's important. Nowdays I'm sure you don't need to go all the way to South America to meet her. Plenty to be had in alternative circles in the US Be very sincere , drink and ask for guidance. Maybe she, which might...

How about selling crypto in small parts, e.g. 10%
Yes that's a good plan, kind of been doing that with my balancing into gold. But the greed part of me likes to keep a sizable crypto position for a possible home run.
