Re: Under the Yoke

That is fantastic level of savings in terms of expenses. For what scenario do you have that level of expenses saved? Is it possible to maintain the same level of expenses when living alone?

Re: Hristo's FI Journal

I think I’m finally growing tired of the egocentric and self-centered focus of some of what I’m seeing on this forum. Do something to be useful to your sister and brother. --- What’s WL10? It’s some guy positively contributing to his community by employing people, supporting families, providing goo...

Re: Gilberto de Piento's Journal

Try a Vipassana meditation course, it helped to come out of negative feelings. Let me know if you want to know more about that. What helped me to overcome regret is finding silver lining in the situations which I usually regret. Or another way is to think your past as dead and in another life time a...

Sorry about your FIL! We are not taking the financial burden of other peoples choices, and could see this becoming a point of contention if we were too transparent regarding our own situation. Wish I had this foresight before disclosing a bit about our networth to our extended family ;) . Lots of hi...

Re: Liberate Mind: Family Edition

@basuragomi, We are still in the planning phase, nothing decided clearly yet. Most likely the expenses for the first year would be cashflowed by DH as the break is mainly for the family. And we maintain seperate assets except for one plot where we plan to build on. Most likely maintaining seperate a...
