This is all good information. After we see a few orthos and get some pricing down, i'll be sure to reply with the actual deal I can work out. I'm definitely fine with the $5000 range compared to $16000+.

I've been underwear free since ~93...but seriously for the past 8 years I haven't worn any, the only times I have regretted this of course is when your at work or the gym and your pants rip right in the crotch. Thats the real risk!

Gosh, I hope thats physically feasible when we make it to the ortho...2700 w/10% off would be quite pleasant compared to the 5000+ numbers I've been seeing.

Those are good points, I could always used the existing wiring and at some point put in my own controllers for the system upfront cost would essentially be 8 months of the security system now, but wouldn't require any service plan.
