Northman, you mentioned that your schooling will be free. Where do you live, that you can get your degree for free? What an awesome opportunity you have.

@HSpencer... the "pioneer" is quite helpful to the couple in their 70s, as they can purchase the land, providing an out for someone too old to start all over.

Why would you want to sell your property? I don't plan to sell mine. I'll hang on to my properties and keep renting them out. If you keep on top of maintaining the building, you wont have massive repairs to do (barring tornadoes etc) and keep collecting rent.
